Implementasi intervensi berdasarkan evidence-based nursing (EBN).

ABSTRACT
Teenage pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs in women between the ages of 10-19 years. The potential incidence of postpartum depression also mostly occurs in young mothers. The incidence of postpartum depression will have a negative impact on the health of the mother, child and family. This case study aims to determine the effect of providing education on increasing knowledge and effleurage massage therapy for preventing postpartum depression in teenage pregnancies. Implementation of interventions based on evidence-based nursing (EBN). The intervention used was providing health education using leaflets regarding the danger signs of pregnancy and early detection of postpartum depression as well as providing effleurage massage therapy 2 times/week for 2 weeks. The first education was provided with the client's knowledge pretest score (40%) and posttest score (100%), the second education was the client's knowledge pretest score (28.5%) and posttest score (71.4%), after giving effleurage massage therapy the EPDS score The result was 12 and the STAI score was 44. There was an increase in client knowledge after being given nursing intervention, namely health education and a decrease in EPDS scores and STAI scores after being given effleurage massage. It is hoped that this case study can be used as a reference in providing interventions by nurses for the management of postpartum depression.
